What we do
The Shade Review is an independent online publication about sunglasses: which frames work with which faces, which lenses are worth the money, and which classics have aged badly. We write for men in their forties, fifties and beyond, and for the people who buy for them.
How we work
Every article starts with a question a reader actually asks. We compare frames on things you can check yourself: price, material, lens type, how they sit on a face. Opinions on style are ours, and we say so when they are.
Our editors write under their own bylines. We do not publish user-submitted content, and we do not accept requests to edit a published review.
